Unions seek international inquiry into charter schools policy

The Council of Trade Unions has filed a formal complaint to the International Labour Organization alleging the Government’s new charter schools law breaches obligations to protect collective bargaining, Newsroom can reveal.
The complaint represents the latest escalation in a bitter battle between unions and the Government over measures added to the charter schools bill just days before public submissions closed in July.
